The Passive House Design and Construction course will provide you with the fundamental knowledge to set you on the path to design and build compliant Passive House buildings, meaning an 80 – 90% reduction in annual heating and cooling energy, and reduced mechanical systems.
Training material will be geared to practical applications within the Canadian building environment and building codes. The course represents the first step in becoming a certified Passive House designer or consultant, and will enable participants to be actively involved in the design and construction of Passive House buildings.
The course also helps you prepare for the PHI Certified Passive House Designer Exam.
Fees include lunches, refreshments and course materials.
Fees do not include the PHPP 8.0 software package, which is required for the course, and can be purchased here. You can use an older, free demo version of PHPP, however it doesn’t come with the support manual. Download PHPP 2007 English Demo.
